3.1.08 ~ Pro Bono for Animals

I wanted to post this in hopes other designers would see it. I came across a great pro bono website whose mission is to help animals. It is creativepaw.org

Creative Paw is a network of creative professionals who are willing to work pro bono for animal welfare causes. You set up a profile and these shelters and organizations can search for you to see if you can help them with their design and marketing needs. As an animal lover I jumped on board right away...everyone can spare a little time to help out a good cause, this to me is a great one.

Happy Holidays! If you are wondering why you have been redirected to zephyrstudio.com it is because I have started my own design studio from home. My previous website, 614design.com, started back as a means for an online portfolio, and snowballed into me fullfilling my dream of working from home as a freelancer. Going through the process of starting a small business, and all it entails, I decided to create Zephyr Studio.

Over the last year I have been freelancing for several large companies throughout the US, working as an outsource designer for several newspapers, and formed relationships with many new local clients. I figured with a new year and a business that is expanding this is a great time to focus on growing and turning a new page in my life. I am excited as to what I have accomplished and built for myself, leaving the corporate world behind, and focusing on my work, my life and the endless possibilities that lie ahead.
